Craft Market on Main Street
On 4 September you can buy clothes, handbags, linen, beaded artwork, wire products, silk screen products, embroidery, cakes and scones, African jewellery and seeds in decorative tin packs- all these make great gifts for spring!
Many of the crafters who attend our Main Street Market take immense pride in their products and are willing to go the extra mile. Some of our individual life stories are inspirational and we are proud to have them part of the team.
Didi, for instance, has been a hand-crafter for seven years. He has established his brand, ‘I Did It’ in that time and his creativity and drive to succeed is truly admirable. He comments, “Main Street Market has a great atmosphere and vibe. It has been very profitable for me.”
Local performers entertain with their dance, music and rhythm. Over the years a host of entertainers such as the Scottish dancers, the Salvation Army Band, penny whistlers, gumboot dancers and drummers have wowed the crowds.
